Dr. Hera Wu
Dr. Hera Wu is a dermatologist originally from the mid-west and will be
serving patients in Cary, NC. She earned her medical degree from the College
of Medicine at California Northstate University and received her Bachelor’s
Degree from the University of California, Berkeley in Molecular and Cell
Biology, where she also minored in Ethnic Studies and Creative Writing. She
trained at the University of Arkansas of Medical Sciences where she completed
her Dermatology Residency.
Dr. Wu has been published across several medical journals and was named “Best Resident” in Dermatology by Arkansas Medical Society in May 2025.
Dr. Wu is excited to be a part of the Central Dermatology Center practice to continue to drive the collaboration she experienced in residency and leverage the wealth of knowledge CDC’s experienced provider team bring to the table.
In her free time – Dr. Wu enjoys yoga, tennis, hiking, and spending time with her dog. She is also able to speak Mandarin.
