Which Filler is Right for Me?

Fillers are not one-size-fits-all. Some are only appropriate to treat fine lines, while others are designed to be injected deeper into the skin to fill out more prominent folds and creases. Still others are used to give your lips a plumper look. Most of the fillers we offer (except Sculptra and RADIESSE) use hyaluronic acid, a substance found in humans. Since it’s found naturally in your body, there’s virtually no risk of an allergic reaction. All fillers are temporary. Depending on the filler used, the results will be noticeable for several months to a year. Combining filler treatments with BOTOX® Cosmetic can provide more impressive results.

Patients registered with our Allē program earn rewards every time they get treated with Allergan products, such as JUVÉDERM and BOTOX.

The following list provides brief summaries of the fillers we use:

Restylane-L

The only filler approved by the FDA for lip augmentation in patients 21 and older. Restylane-L is the same as Restylane, but with lidocaine added to reduce the discomfort of injections. It is often used to provide volume to the cheeks and under the eyes, in addition to lips.

Sculptra

Sculptra contains poly-L lactic acid (PLLA) to stimulate the production of collagen. It is considered a semi-permanent filler and is designed for a series of injections to treat and rejuvenate the face with moderate to deeper wrinkling. Sculptra treatments may be scheduled for more than one treatment session to achieve the optimal results.

RADIESSE

The volumizing filler is an injectable implant composed of smooth calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres. The gel gradually stimulates collagen growth. The collagen that forms results in extended correction and increased patient satisfaction. It’s used for moderate to deep volumizing.
