Laura Monaghan, PA-C

Laura Monaghan is a NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant originally from Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in Spanish from The University of Virginia, where she was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma and Order of Omega honor societies. She then went on to attend the Emerging Leaders Program at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where she graduated with her Master of Medical Science and Master of Science in Management degrees. She has since completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Fellowship program.

Today, she is an active member of the Society of Dermatology PAs as well as the American Academy of PAs. She is passionate about  skin cancer prevention, detection, and surgical  dermatology as well as overall skin health.

Outside of dermatology, Laura enjoys reading, baking gluten free treats, distance running, and spending time with her friends, family, and labradoodle.
