Robert Johnson, MSN, FNP-C, DCNP

Robert Johnson is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical background in both dermatology and family medicine. He brings a patient-centered, results-driven approach to care, combining advanced clinical expertise with a commitment to delivering thoughtful, individualized treatment plans.

Robert earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University and has since built a diverse career across leading healthcare organizations, including Duke Health, Integrated Dermatology, and Pinehurst Medical Clinic. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated excellence in diagnosing and managing a wide range of dermatologic conditions, from common skin concerns to complex and chronic diseases.

With experience in both in-person and telehealth settings, Robert is highly skilled in comprehensive skin evaluations, biopsies, cryotherapy, laser services, and phototherapy. He is also known for his strong focus on patient education—ensuring individuals feel informed, confident, and supported throughout their care journey.

In addition to his clinical work, Robert has contributed to operational and quality improvements, including developing systems that enhance patient safety and streamline care delivery. His efforts have helped drive measurable outcomes such as increased patient satisfaction and expanded access to dermatologic services.

Robert is a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner and Certified Aesthetic Laser Operator. He is passionate about staying at the forefront of dermatologic advancements and providing high-quality, evidence-based care.

Outside of the clinic, Robert values collaboration, continuous learning, and building meaningful relationships with his patients and colleagues.
