Zachary DelConte, PA-C

Zachary DelConte, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. A Durham, NC native, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from UNC-Chapel Hill. Zachary went on to complete his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where he was elected Class Vice President and excelled both academically and through community service.

 Zachary is also a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA). He has since built a robust dermatology career treating a full spectrum of skin conditions in patients of all ages. After years of practice in the greater Atlanta, GA area, Zachary returned home to care for the Triangle community.

In addition to medical dermatology, Zachary is skilled in dermatologic surgery. His experience extends to assisting with Mohs micrographic surgery, performing excisions with complex reconstructions, managing complications, and handling a wide range of procedural dermatology needs. As an aesthetics provider, Zachary is trained in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, energy-based therapies, and advanced skin rejuvenation.

Zachary is passionate about patient-centered care and strives to make each visit educational, supportive, and empowering. He is known for his attention to detail, collaborative spirit, and commitment to helping patients achieve both healthy skin and natural-looking aesthetic outcomes.

Beyond clinical care, Zachary is active in community outreach, dermatology advocacy, and professional leadership. He has served on the SDPA Government Affairs and Advocacy Committee and has been recognized nationally with MUSC’s Emerging Leader Award, and as SDPA’s New DermPA of the Year and Emerging Scholar, among other acknowledgments.  

Outside of the office, Zachary enjoys spending time with his wife, weightlifting, and archery.
