Alex Dascoli

Certified Physician Assistant

Alex earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at UNC Chapel Hill in 2015 with a minor in Spanish for the Medical Professions. She then joined Central Dermatology Center and worked as a medical assistant where she discovered her passion for the field of dermatology. She went on to complete her Master of Medical Science/Physician Assistant Training from Wake Forest School of Medicine in 2019 and joined Central Dermatology Center as a provider.

Alex focuses on Surgical Dermatology and Medical Aesthetics. She feels that surgical dermatology is a great balance of medical and surgical skills, art and creativity, and it keeps every day interesting and enjoyable. She is an Allergan Aesthetics trained injector and her medical aesthetics treatment philosophy embodies curating a "refreshed" look for her patients.

It is important to Alex that her patients to have the utmost confidence in the provider they choose for their care. Her surgical services include skin cancer removal and treatment, cyst removal, keloid removal, stretched earlobe repair, and more. Her aesthetic services include Botox, dermal fillers, acne scar treatment, and IPL laser treatment.

Alex is a member of the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants, the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Association of Physician Assistants. When she is not in the office, she loves cooking new recipes or trying new restaurants around town.
