Dr. Leeor Porges

Dr. Leeor Porges is a board-certified, ISHRS fellowship-trained dermatologist and hair restoration surgeon serving patients throughout the Triangle Area of North Carolina. Dr. Porges completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of Miami and went on to obtain his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University. He completed his internship and residency in dermatology at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Porges is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, and the American Osteopathic Association. He has served as a melanoma research fellow, has held positions as a clinical Investigator in numerous dermatologic research trials, and is a current ISHRS fellow with hair transplantation expertise. He has over 7 years of medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, and medical aesthetics experience.

In addition to seeing medical dermatology patients Dr. Porges diagnoses, manages, and treats hair loss and is sensitive to its evolving nature. Hair loss is not a one size fits all diagnosis and his therapy ranges from medical management (topical and oral), regrow solutions, and photobiomodulation, to permanent hair restoration surgery when appropriate.

Dr. Porges performs conservative, age-appropriate hair restoration surgery that will mature naturally, providing timeless results without an obvious transplanted appearance. He provides a custom-tailored experience for each patient offering treatments to enhance confidence, beauty, and to help them achieve their aesthetic goals. He personally performs and supervises every aspect of his patient’s hair restoration journey. Dr. Porges is honored to have been fellowship-trained under world renowned surgeon and artist Matt Leavitt D.O. 

Dr. Porges gives each patient his focused attention, and he prides himself on delivering the best treatment available. He treats a range of conditions, and he is eager to help the wider community receive the care they deserve. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Hebrew. Dr. Porges has a true passion for his profession and in his free time enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time with his wife, toddler and two rescue dogs.
